Potassium Diet - A Low Potassium Diet for Kidney Disease

If you are someone that suffers from weakened or diseased kidneys, then you need to be very careful about the foods you eat. A good kidney Diet plan will help you to keep an eye on minerals like potassium and calcium that can easily start to build up in the body due to the kidneys being unable to rid the body of them in time. Getting too much potassium can lead to a problem called hyperkalemia, which involves having too high of a concentration of potassium in the blood. Dairy is a good option because it is low in potassium and the calcium it has is easy for the body to absorb. Try to get one or two servings of dairy each day.
